Chromatography media offer good recovery and low nonspecific adsorption. Enable gel filtration at laboratory and industrial scale, and may be purchased in prepacked columns.

- Excellent purification over a wide molecular weight range
- High reproducibility due to long-term chemical and physical stability
- High flow rates and recoveries
- Well-suited to industrial-scale use
- Storage conditions: 20% ethanol; 4° to 30°C
- Available in a variety of selectivities and volumes
Chemical Stability (stable in all common buffers):
- 1M acetic acid, 8M urea
- 6M guanidine-HCl, 1% SDS
- 2M NaCl, 24% ethanol
- 30% propanol, 30% acetonitrile
- 0.5M NaOH (for cleaning)
- 3 to 11 (long-term and working)
- 2 to 13 (short-term)
- Negligible volume variation due to changes in pH or ionic strength
- Autoclavability: At 121°C, pH 7 for 30 minutes (gel only)
- Antimicrobial agent: 20% ethanol
