Kits are intended for use with Multiphor™ II Flatbed Electrophoresis System. Provide more reliable results than those obtained with agarose electrophoresis: optimal separation range is 50-500 base pairs (bp), with resolution of 6-8 bp in the 100–200 bp range.

  • Achieve high throughput with precast gels with 48 preformed 5-7μL sample wells
  • DNA fragments can be visualized in about 120 minutes
  • Silver staining following separations yields high senstivity and permanent documentation of results
  • Gel dimensions: 250 x 110 x 0.5 mm
  • Gels offers long shelf life--up to 24 months

ExcelGel™ (12.5% gel) Kit

  • Offers the convenience of a ready-to-use gel; no need to handle buffer and rehydration solutions
  • Used in a variety of DNA techniques: SSCP, RAPD, and VNTR
  • Includes five ExcelGel 48S gels and 12 buffer strips, and instructions
